Liverpool are considering picking up midfielder Philippe Coutinho back to Anfield, but they will not rush to pay for Barcelona.
Coutinho is the most expensive contract in Barca history when he joined the club in January 2018. However, contrary to great expectations, the Brazilian midfielder played quite faintly and did not create a far-reaching influence at La Liga champions.
Therefore, Coutinho's future becomes precarious at Barca. Things became more obscure with the 26-year-old star recently, the Catalan giant successfully recruited striker Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid.
In the context of sinking at the Nou Camp, Coutinho suddenly received good news from the old Liverpool team. Specifically, The Kop has expressed a desire to borrow Coutinho for 2 years, with a choice of a definitive purchase worth € 88 million.
However, Barca are likely not too salty with this proposal from Liverpool, because they need money immediately to cherish the desire to welcome Neymar back.
Currently, Coutinho has 4 years of contract with Barca.
