Man United did not approve the £ 53.9 million price offered by Inter Milan to striker Romelu Lukaku.

Two days ago, Inter sent to Man Utd the amount of the above £ 54 million asked to buy Lukaku, without extra fees.
However, the Reds quickly refused because they demanded to receive £ 79 million, equal to the amount they spent recruiting the Belgian player from Everton in 2017.
Thus, Inter still lacks £ 25 million to get a nod from Man Utd. However, this is a very difficult number to accept for a striker like Lukaku.
On Friday, Inter coach Antonio Conte confirmed the Nerazzurri are pursuing Lukaku. He said: "You know I really like Lukaku. When I was leading Chelsea, I tried to recruit him. But I repeat: Lukaku is still Man United player today. I respect it. Great for Man United ".
Man Utd beat Inter 1-0 in the recent 2019 ICC, but Lukaku did not play because of the injury. Up to this point, the 26-year-old striker has not played a single minute for the Reds in the 2019 summer tour.
