Man United is still in the process of considering appointing a new captain. In the short term, old General Ashley Young still plays the captain of the Red Devils.
Antonio Valencia was Man United's captain, but his failure to play regularly last season helped Young become "The First Devil".
In Man Utd's 2-0 win over Perth Glory in the recent friendly match, Young is the captain of the Red Devils in the first half, and Juan Mata plays the captain in the second half.
After the match, coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said Man United has not yet decided who will be the new captain, and everything will be announced when the 2019 summer tour closes.
