Hazard left the Belgium team due to an injury

Midfielder Eden Hazard will return to Madrid to continue the process of recovering from a thigh injury.

Hazard has not yet made his official debut for Real Madrid, due to a thigh injury just before La Liga 2019/20. Despite being absent for the past few weeks, the former Chelsea star is still on the Belgium squad for the upcoming series of EURO 2020 qualifiers.

However, after being evaluated by the doctors in the team, Hazard will return to Madrid to continue the recovery process. He is likely ready to play his debut at Real and Levante's confrontation in La Liga on September 14.


Apart from Eden Hazard, the Belgian team will also not have the service of his brother Thorgan Hazard. The Dortmund midfielder had problems with his ribs and had to rest for a few weeks.

On September 6, Belgium will meet San Marino. Three days later, they will confront Scotland.
