Juventus eliminated Emre Can and Mandzukic from the Champions League list

In the Champions League 2019/20 registration list, Juventus coach Maurizio Sarri eliminated two famous players, Emre Can and striker Mario Mandzukic.

In the Summer of 2019, Juventus could hardly reduce the squad load for many reasons. Therefore, coach Maurizio Sarri was forced to cut staff in the most important arena in the Champions League.

In the list of 22 Juve players attending the tournament, Emre Can and Mario Mandzukic were eliminated. Besides the case of center-back captain Giorgio Chiellini due to injury.

While the three stars were absent, striker Gonzalo Higuain after a season of adventure in Milan and Chelsea was chosen by coach Sarri. In addition, the new recruits that Juve recruited this summer include Matthijs de Ligt, Danilo, Merih Demiral, Adrien Rabiot, Aaron Ramsey and Gianluigi Buffon are all selected by Sarri.

In the Champions League 2019/20, Juventus are in Group D with Atletico Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen and Lokomotiv Moscow. In the first round, the Serie A champions will have to make a guest against Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano on September 19.
